16. My gifts are probably not your gifts and vice versa. What I do may not work for you and vise versa. We all have natural abilities in some aspects, have to work on others, and still others we can’t get to work to save our lives. That’s normal!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s okay to have someone help you who is good at something that you are not. I often buy spells from other witches or have them cast for me and the same for others. That’s okay and is normal.

17. Your gifts of type of magick also may be different. One of my specialties is using my staff, fans, wands, etc I also like dance incorporated. Do you? If not, that’s okay! You may be great at ritual magick, candles, earth, weather, runes, whatever.

18. Not everyone does divination or does it the same way. Tarot or runes seem to be the mainstream right now but there are other ways. Mirror, tea, candle flame or melts, water, dreaming, passive, assertive or heck, looking at your toothpaste in the sink. I’m gifted at reading wax and I’ve had people tell me that is not a method. Well, it is and I’m very good at it.

19. Be open to using magick instruments in a different way. I use tarot cards in spells. I buy several decks with the intention of using their cards for spells only. Use a wooden cooking spoon as a wand. Use a curtain rod as a staff.

20. You don’t have to have special instruments if you don’t want or can’t afford it. My mawmaw (that’s southern for grandma) used her everyday broom, her everyday knife, her everyday cooking pot. She used trees and plants out of the yard. I put some of her favorite rocks in her coffin that only worked for her. They were not cristals, they were rocks that she picked up or that someone brought her. I have the luxury of being able to afford to purchase instruments specifically for my needs. However, I have also used my mundane items, especially my martial arts items in magick. Whatever is good for you IS GOOD!

21. If you ask for help from someone and they charge, do your research! Dont just pay them, but also don’t be fooled into thinking that if someone offers you help for free that they know what to do. I have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars throughout my YEARS with books, seminars, classes, more books, audio books, videos, classes, oh and books. I’ve helped people throughout my life at no charge but not so much anymore as most of these people didn’t realize what I did for them. I have a booth where I sell things, including spell kits in New Orleans (this is not an offer of sale) , but I don’t read tarot for people, even for a charge. Okay for my friends but not for others. In other words, not everyone who charges is a fake but not everyone who charges isn’t a fake. Do some research on the person before you invest your money but also your time and energy!

22. How can you help others? I send energy out to help children and women escape bondage. Can you help this way? Or, how can you give of yourself and of your magical gifts?
