Tips for Beginner Witches Part 1

 I’m going to give y’all some tips. They may not be what you want to hear but it is the truth from my point of view.

Please do your own research.

1.Buy books, go to the library, follow true leaders and teaching groups and not just the “it” person of the moment.

2. Look into opposing or differing practices. You may not find exactly what you want but you can learn a lot. For example, I am not Wiccan yet I have many Wiccan books and follow many Wiccan groups, etc.

3. Look into the basics such as color magick, season magick, moon and sun, chants, songs, dance, etc. even if you don’t think you will be interested because you will definitely use these if you put in the years.

4. Look into multiple types of magick such as fire not just candles, sound including bells and chimes as well as musical instruments and songs, cooking including teas and soups, aromatherapy, madras, etc.

5. Look into tool types such as besoms (brooms), crystals, wands and staves, spoons, pots, pans, cauldrons, scissors, knives, paper types, candle types, etc.
