Enchanting your staff

Assuming that you’ve chosen your staff, even if it is your practice staff or a temporary staff, you will want to turn your staff into a magical tool and not just a long stick. I’ve always been told that it takes a month -a lunar month working it every day or night. Now, to me, it doesntmattter what phase it is to start. Why wait for a new moon or a full moon because the moon is always there and you are going to use it in each phase anyways. Just make a note on your calendar what day you start so you won’t have to remember, or not remember. 😝

I will also say that I, personally use oils, but you don’t have to. You can use plants and rub them on your staff directly, if you want. I use magical oils because their intentions have already been set. also, maybe only begin with the ends of the staff and not include the center because your you can cleanse your staff before putting your oils on it if you want, it’s up to you. Each day, add some oil to your staff. And, maybe even set the last day as a full dedication/sanctification/deification ceremony where you invite friends. Just remember that this is serious business and add intention with each rub of your oil.
